Mumbai International Airport: Soon To Be An Airport Like Never Before
Sanjay Reddy – Managing Director of Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) exudes an air of pride and humble diligence for the tasks to come. The air is palpable as he speaks of his new assignment, his new technology partner Nortel and what they need to accomplish for India: "I think it's very critical that India as a nation, which is one of the largest economies of the world, has to really showcase itself as a first impression. The Indian economy has been growing at a phenomenal pace over the last few years… and without infrastructure development, the economy cannot continue to grow."

I have heard lots of complaints from my foreign friends about the poor condition of Indian airports...hope the improvement happens soon!!!

'Critical moment'

The death toll from Cyclone Nargis currently stands at 78,000 dead, with another 56,000 missing.

Hundreds of thousands of people have lost their homes and the UN says that fewer than a quarter of the 2.4 million people affected have received aid.

The restriction/delayed accepance of foreign aid by China and Burma Govt meant that these aid will have some adverse effect to their people in the self affluent nations and also about the christian missionaries take this chance to spread their religion!!!
