I happen to try a long ride on the national high way which goes to calcutta from my city, chennai. I never tried such a long trip before but realised the feeling of been on the wheel with speed in that board road, at times distrubed with the heavy vehicles which over took me at double my speed!!!
I was lucky on that day to have less traffic and the climate was cloudy, which progressed to give heavy showers! I enjoyed that rain. Greenish field, black road, dark clouds, cool breeze...Nobody can deny the fact that chennai people would LOVE the rain. More over the rainy season is about to being in chennai as the saying goes, First drop of the rain, splashed on me!!! WoooW Nature's purified cost free oxydised mineral water drops!!!
National Highways plan - connecting all the metros in India was initiated by the BJP Govt, still going on with the same zeal has to be appreciated. Good road, Good Country...are we nearing to it?
