He sells mobile phone, whisper...makes pirated CDs for new movies, smuggles diamond from Africa, fights and makes a fantastic chasing, elopes the immigration with diamonds, falls in love with his friends sister, then burns his friend's body in Malaysia, takes revenge by detected the smuggling business of his enemies by helping the immigration (with the background score of "Catch me if you can...") fights with the villain..kills him...Atlast wins the job in the immigration, besides dancing and singing, declares Jo as his all time favorite actress...mother sentiment, friend sentiment, various get ups more than dasavathram, all this in 2.5 hrs makes a merry go round of action, thrill, romance, dance, locations...
Besides fitting it to the normal masala movie for the A, B and C class audience..this movie determines Surya as the hottest property in kollywood…that’s AYAN
This is the story of the school students (11th and 12th) the stunts between two gangs in the same school, their fights, their happiness, fun, entertainments are all been told in a non boring fashion with the mega attraction of Nadiya as their principal. With her motivation the two gangs becomes friends and wins the champions cup in the relay sunning race...but some small misunderstandings…makes the climax a total turnover in the unexpected move..this movie is closely related to "Vennila Kabadi kulu" in terms of the climax! (Is it a sentiment now?)

“Ananda Thandavam”
I adore the stories of Late writer Sujatha (Rangarajan) whom I have met and spoken in person when I was in chennai, when a movie been taken from his story, I wouldnt get the pleasure like that of reading his stories ...this movie is based on Sujatha’s novel “pirivom santhipom” the innocent looking hero…suits well for the character..there is of course some changes / updating / correction from the original storyline, like that of the recent shooting in the University by a Korean students in US been shown in this movie…the director has tried his best to have a good sync with the original but at time it was quite tough to maintain it…not a total dissatisfaction either…
I read the story when I travelling in Navajeevan express from chennai to ahmedabad (it was 34hrs travel) I was totally glued to that novel till I got down from the train I was reading again and again...otherwise there was nothing entertaining for me in that 34hrs slow journey to my sister’s place.
